Meet Our Team

Todd Snider

General Manager of Operations & Productions

Todd Snider has been with Bamboo Shoots for 16 years, overseeing operations in both the production and post-production departments. His role involves managing budgets, supporting department heads, developing efficient processes and workflows, and fostering a collaborative approach to creative ideas and problem-solving. He also plays a key role in strategic planning for operational and infrastructure expansion.

Before joining Bamboo Shoots, Todd spent 18 years in broadcasting and 11 years as part of the SaskTel MaxTron in-house video team for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He was also the Technical Producer for the main stage at the Craven Country Jamboree for 7 years.  Todd brings a wealth of experience in live event production and a deep passion for processes, which has made him a go-to expert for operational efficiency.

One of his most notable achievements was the 2017 partnership between maxTV Local on Demand and the Canada West Football Conference. This collaboration showcased 15 live university football games across 6 cities and 4 provinces. Despite only having 6 weeks to prepare, the Bamboo Shoots team worked tirelessly to ensure a successful launch. He recalls the pride he felt during the season opener, and the excitement culminated with a record-breaking 59-yard field goal to win the championship.

Todd enjoys the team aspect of his role the most, particularly the opportunity to work side by side with others and collaborate on ideas and strategies.  He is known for always having a dad joke or a life lesson to share—though they’re often met with an eye roll. A big fan of The Shawshank Redemption, he never misses a chance to watch it, no matter where it is in the movie.
