Stuart Merson Davies has been with Bamboo Shoots for 4 years, bringing a wealth of experience in broadcast and corporate production. He is responsible for inbound and outbound production creative and manages production for the Saskatoon corporate production team.
With 28 years of experience in broadcast and corporate production, Stuart has worked as a producer, director, and director of photography (DOP). He is a graduate of the Durban University of Technology in South Africa, specializing in Video Technology. Stuart ran his own production business for 15 years, producing projects in Canada, Africa, China, and the USA, working with clients worldwide. Notable projects include My World” for Sasol China – Beijing, DOP, Searchers” Season 1 – DOP, and Kenya Airways – Nairobi, Producer/Director
Stuart enjoys working with people in the production industry. As a leader, he takes great pride in fostering personal growth, creative exploration, and maintaining a strong connection between the management and production teams. His focus is always on providing the best for clients while encouraging inclusivity and enjoyment throughout the process, from pre-production to post.
Stuart is a foodie who loves to recreate dishes from top chefs, and he can also play the pipe organ. He finds inspiration in Netflix documentaries, The Crown, Slow Horses, and the film Lion.
