Ryley Konechny is a colourist and editor at Bamboo Shoots, specializing in post-production, editing, colouring, and finishing. His focus is on ensuring every project meets the highest standards and leaves clients thrilled with the final product.
His passion for filmmaking began early, leading him to study film at RAIS in 2014. His experience spans a wide range of projects, from creatively driven music videos to short-form business content produced in Saskatoon and Calgary. He has also shot and coloured a feature film and worked with clients from around the world.
At Bamboo Shoots, Ryley brings a fresh, global perspective to every project, drawing inspiration from directors, filmmakers, colourists, and creative hubs worldwide. His goal is to continually push projects visually and keep them on the leading edge of the industry.
Outside of work, Ryley enjoys golf and bowling and is always up for a round. His favorite films — Safe, The Tree of Life, Punch-Drunk Love, and The Straight Story — along with True Detective Season 1, inspire his passion for visually stunning, emotionally rich storytelling.
