Nesslin Malinski is an Assistant Editor and Production Assistant at Bamboo Shoots, having joined the team in May 2024 as a freelancer before becoming an in-house employee in October 2024.
With a background in audio engineering, Nesslin studied at the Recording Arts Institute of Saskatoon in 2023 and quickly transitioned into the industry, working on live events, short films, and television productions. In post-production, Nesslin ensures that editors have everything they need for a smooth workflow, and on set, they take on various production roles, from camera and lighting to audio recording and mixing.
Some of his notable projects include working on two national television series, contributed to six student short films, and being involved in various TV and commercial projects
Nesslin thrives on constant learning and growth, appreciating the chance to work with a highly skilled and adaptable team that can take on any challenge. A lifelong lover of the arts, Nesslin approaches every project with a creative mindset. Stop-motion films like Fantastic Mr. Fox and Wallace & Gromit inspire their work, as well as the storytelling and artistic direction found in video games.
