Jakub Kostura is a new videographer and editor at Bamboo Shoots, bringing his passion for visual storytelling and technical expertise to the team. His background in video production and editing makes him a valuable addition, helping to create compelling content for a variety of projects.
He graduated from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) RTBN program in 2021 and has since worked as a videographer and editor, collaborating with media companies in Saskatchewan and taking on freelance projects. His expertise includes lighting, audio, camera operation, live broadcasts, and post-production editing, allowing him to contribute to every stage of the creative process.
Throughout his career, Jakub has worked on a variety of exciting projects, including filming and editing a music video for The Hunter Brothers, contributing to creative work for Jess Moskaluke, and creating social content for U Sports. His ability to craft engaging visuals and collaborate on unique productions makes him a strong asset to the Bamboo Shoots team.
Jakub has a deep love for baseball, which is why Moneyball is his favorite film—he enjoys the behind-the-scenes look at how a pro team is built. And in a fun twist of history, he’s related to the Wright brothers, the inventors of the first successful airplane.
