Persephone Theatre’s Open Stage

Through the remainder of their 2021/22 Season, Bamboo Shoots is proud to be working with Persephone Theatre on their Open Stage Series. Open Stage is a series of new and in-development performances from Saskatoon artists offered for free online. Created as a celebration of the incredible talent in the Saskatoon community, Persephone has an open call for submissions. Each Open Stage will be a unique line-up that’s completely responsive to the artists who want to present their work and have complete control over the way they want to present it.

The two upcoming shows accepting submissions are:

Episode 3: Out on the Open Stage (with Out Saskatoon and Saskatoon Pride) – June 17.
Proposals must be submitted by May 31.

Episode 4 (with 25th Street Theatre and Saskatoon Fringe Festival) – July 22.
Proposals must be submitted by July 8.
