Campaign launched to honour Humboldt tragedy victims

Today, on the third anniversary of the crash that devastated communities around the world, Bamboo Shoots is honoured to be a part of a capital campaign to help raise support and funding for both a permanent roadside memorial at the crash site and a tribute centre in Humboldt.

“On April 6, 2018, the lives of so many were changed forever,” says Wally Start, President and CEO of Bamboo Shoots. “Being a part of this campaign is a way for us to share in the healing and support the players, staff, families and community of Humboldt in the best way we know how.”

We want to thank all the people and organizations that have already come together to help ensure the Tribute Centre becomes a reality. We’d especially like to thank the collaborative efforts from those ready and willing to help make this video extra special: The Humboldt Broncos Campaign Committee, TSN, Ron MacLean, Haley Wickenheiser, The National Hockey League, Sportsnet, Mark Chipman-Winnipeg Jets, Marla Possberg, Amanda Brochu, Sound Lounge, and Derek Watson.
